Adult: $5 per entry/item

Junior: First entry is free, each following entry/item is $2 per

ENTRIES should be brought to Centennial Middle School, 38875 NW 1st Ave in Scio. Entries will be accepted Friday, May 16th from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (If this time does not work for you, contact the festival at lwffiberartshow@lambfair.com for other possible arrangements.

Junior exhibitors are youth, ages 5-18 years.

To be eligible for The Fat Lamb Junior Award, juniors must be entered in the age-appropriate youth classes.

Any item not properly entered into the correct lot, class, or division may be moved to the appropriate category at the judge’s discretion.

Judging will take place Friday, May 16 after 6:00pm.

RELEASE TIME is 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Each exhibitor must sign a release form when picking up their items

PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD will be awarded to the best overall entry as voted by fair attendees.

THE FAT LAMB AWARD will be given to the judge’s choice of best overall adult entry.

THE FAT LAMB JUNIOR AWARD will be given to the judge’s choice of best overall youth entry.
-
LOCAL CRAFTERS AWARD will be awarded to judge’s choice of items submitted by entrants with a SCIO mailing address.

Handspinning Division
All yarn must be in appropriately tied skeins and a minimum of 25 yards.

Hand Knitted and Crocheted Divisions

Local Division
Entries must contain a minimum of 80% locally* (see definition below) produced animal and/or plant fiber. Describe blend percentage in the entry form item description. Items will be judged using the same criteria as for similar fiber arts classes including; appearance, preparation, suitability, technique, finishing, etc. Prizes will be awarded to the top entry in each class.
*Definition of Local: Fiber is to have been produced in Linn County. You must include the address where the fiber was produced in your entry form item description.
